So as October comes to an end, it means Christmas is
literally right round the corner. The Metro Centre, which is my closest indoor
shopping centre, even has their Christmas lights up already… Maybe a little too
early?? Oh well, it gets me more excited!! It also means bonfire night is soon
and standing in the cold watching fireworks means you need a decent coat. Here
are a few I’ve purchased in the last couple of weeks.
Firstly, is this beautiful monochrome coat from Primark. I
actually bought it off someone online for only £8. I’m not sure how much it was
in store originally but for me, it was a great bargain. It is so nice and thick and it keeps me warm
in the cold especially with the black fur collar. Because of the checkered
pattern, I usually wear it with black leggings and usually a black or white
blouse, so it’s just so easy to throw on over a black outfit and make a dull
outfit interesting.
The next coat is also a fabulous monochrome coat from
Primark. This one I got because of the leather and fur, I just couldn’t say no!
It’s big and thick and so cosy to wear. The fur definitely keeps you protected
from all the winds were having recently. The length is perfect as it is quite
long and I love longer coats. The leather sleeves are such a statement to this
coat which goes perfectly with the big fluffy fur collar. This coat was only
£35 too!! I got it at the end of September so I’m sure it could still be in
shops!
Finally, my third find was this gorgeous pink, yes PINK
leather jacket!! When I saw it, I tried it on and walked out the shop but was
constantly thinking about it. About 15 minutes later, walked back to River
Island and bought it. You always know you need something in your wardrobe if you
can’t stop thinking about it! I just instantly fell in love. Who wouldn’t want
a pink leather jacket? It also adds a
pop of colour to an outfit instead of being all dark and dull in Autumn/Winter. It’s a beautiful jacket and it’s really thick
and does keep you warm. Like the other two, this one also has a fur collar
which keeps your neck cosy. It’s £60 from River Island. You can find it here.
